The Ocean Isle Sea Turtle Protection Organization hosts weekly Turtle Talks in season, and they love answering questions from anyone about sea turtles.
Between the Town and the OISTPO you can enjoy many other activities like Watermelon Day, Sea Turtle Day, and holiday events like Trunk or Treat.

Kids of all ages love the The Museum of Coastal Carolina, with it's touch-tank, reef room, and much more. Keep an eye on their Calendar of Events to catch their educational and fun programs, such as making coastal crafts, working on science projects, and story time.
The museum is open year-round, with fluctuating hours depending on the season. Admission prices range from $7.50 for children between three and twelve years and $9.50 for adults ages thirteen to sixty-one years. Admission is free for children two years and under.
Little Science lovers will learning about the night sky or even just stargazing, Ingram Planetarium is a lovely choice for an outing. It's hands-on area will boggle the mind with its wide range of activities. And that's before you even enter the observatory to watch a show! Ingram Planetarium has seasonal hours. The facility also ranges in admission price between $7.50 for children and $9.50 for adults, in addition to providing free admission for children less than two years old.
